Its going to be 77 degrees and sunny in my neck of the woods today. Must be our Indian summer. Usually getting colder and dreary this time of year. We are going to take advantage of this unseasonable weather and go to a corn maze today. They have hayrides, pig races, a farmers market, and a pumpkin patch also. Should be a fun family day. Hope everybody has a great Sunday.

Switched shifts today, so I can take my daughter to her Dr. appointment. I don’t have to go in until 3. Here I am wide awake when I should still be sleeping. If I was working my normal hours, I would have hit the snooze button 3 times, but since I’m not I was up before the alarm would have went off. Don’t you just love how that works. Oh well. I will take this opportunity to get some laundry done and maybe a little dusting.

Had our home opener football game tonight at Chalker. My daughter DD is in the marching band. As you can see the band is teeny tiny. We live in a small town and I was told this is the biggest it has been in recent years. I thought they did a really good job tonight and am very proud. Football team however did not. Final score was 47-7 the other guys.

Went to Cedar Point Sunday. I felt like a kid again. I haven’t been on a roller coaster since I was 22. Was actually a little worried. I have heard some of the older ladies at work say “I used to be able to ride coasters, just cant anymore, makes me sick”. What the heck is that. I think once a rider always a rider. My oldest daughter DD, husband, and brother in law Keith went. So much fun. We must have picked a perfect time of year to go. Rides that you would normally stand in line for 3 hours only had about a 40 minute wait, but by the end of the day, we were not waiting AT ALL! Walking up and getting right on. The only time I felt my age was the next day. Have quite a few bruises, I’m guessing from the shoulder and lap bars. My throat was sore as hell also guessing from the screaming I did and my knees felt like they were going to fall right out of my legs. But it was so worth it.

Wow. Its actually been a couple of weeks since I’ve been on here. Didn’t do crap all summer, then the last couple weeks of it were jammed packed full. Really just getting my girls ready for school and what not. DD will be in the 7th grade this year, and Alysa will be going to pre school for the first time. I know, so sad, not looking forward to her first day. I know I will be crying like a baby. Got all of their school shopping done and DD has had band camp for the past couple of weeks. First year she will be in the marching band. Looking forward to the football games. I’m sure all 3 of you were wondering where I’ve been!!! Now you know. And I’m back baby!

Have a family reunion today. My grandma passed away 6 years ago. This is the first time since then we are getting together. Its going to great seeing everybody again. I hope we don’t wait that long to do it again. Then tonight we are going to the concert downtown. The weather is just perfect today. Nothing but blue skies. Temps are just right. Should be a great day!

Pretty sure my sister in law is cheating on my brother. A friend of mine is a landlord. My sister in law filled out an application to rent a house of hers…with another guy. Do I tell him? If it were me, pretty sure I would want to know. Don’t want him to think I’m meddling in his relationship, but don’t want him to hurt more than he needs too. Stuck. Help.

I kept writing my name over and over again for some odd reason. I did however find out that i enjoy painting. I wouldn’t say I’m good at it or anything, but its an outlet. So thanks…again. Slept in until 11:30 today! I haven’t done that in ages. My kids stayed up way to late last night. I was up before them today. OOPS. Probably makes me a bad mom in somebodies eyes. Do I care? Nope. I’m pretty sure if you asked them, they would say I am not. Though, now I feel like I have wasted the day sleeping. Jumped out of bed like a ninja when i saw what time it was, went running around looking for the girls, thinking surely they were awake already. They were still tucked away in their beds. Breakfast is done, now its off for some fun Sunday yard work. If anybody is actually going to ask my kids if I’m a good mom, they better do it now before I make them help with the yard. Answer might change after!

Today is DDs last day of summer golf league. Have to go to a picnic afterwards where they do awards and ask for money. Hate going to this every year. They have 50/50 raffles and expect you to give the money back if you win. What the hell is that crap. If I win, I’m keeping the money and going to the craft store! Stopped actually buying tickets so I wouldn’t actually have to make that decision in front of all those people. So glad she has decided on personal lessons for next year instead of this league. I hate these people. I have to save all year, to be able to send her to this. I’m sorry I don’t shit money like they do. Getting all sweaty thinking about going. Ready to get this crap over with. Bring it on snobs!
